Back to Seoul 24.6

Today we went back to Seoul. But before that we met again with one of our friends in the morning. She brought one of her friends with her, who had said that he wanted to meet us. It feels like we are becoming a local attraction. :-------D Anyway, we were supposed to go eat cold noodles but the place wasn't open yet so we went to get food from Family Mart and sat in a park to eat. Me and Erika were talking with our friend when she suddenly started to laught really hard. We asked "what, what??" and she said she over heard her friend asking from Maiju if she has a boyfriend, kkkkk, we were laughing so hard after that. We laughed to the question and to our friends good hearing. We decided to try going in the restaurant again now that it was open. The cold noodles were soooo good, but the portion was too big for me and I couldn't finish it all. :<
It was time for us to leave and our friend (and her friend) escorted us to the bus station and helped us to by the tickets. It was so sad that we had to go. ;____; I didn't want to leave. I wish we had stayed there longer.
The bus ride back to Seoul was boring. I just listened to music and tried to write more to my blog but as you can see it failed. XD
In Seoul we met again with our friends from the hostel. It was their last day so we went to eat together and too some photos. This day was a bit sad, I had to say goodbye two times. :< But I'm sure that I'll meet my friends again sometime. ^^

Lotte World~ 14.6

Today we went to Lotte World to celebrate by birthday. We were supposed to meet at 11.30 in Jamsil station but of course me and Maiju got a bit lost and went to a wrong metro station. -____- We called Erika when we didn't see her anywhere and only then realized that it was the wrong station. When we finally got to the right station we went to Lotteria to eat. Next to Lotteria was a Etude shop so I brought myself suncream and a BB cream. After that we were ready went to buy our entrance tickets. We had some problems at first when we were bying the tickets because we didn't know how to use the ticket machines but after a few attempts we got our tickets and entred Lotte World. First we just hanged around to see how the place looks like. We found purikura machines, I think there is no need to say that I was really excited, and took a few pictures. When we were cutting and sharing the pics we saw I cool rollercoaster next to us and all of us really wanted to ride it. The only problem was that we didn't find the entrance and were looking at the map for 15min before we realized that it was right next to us... Maybe we should use our brains more. XD But so, we went to the queue and it was just my luck that there was a group of guys infront of us and when they saw me, a small blond girl, they started to stare and speak with each others. Like I wouldn't know that they were talking about me.      -___-" Well the queue wasn't long so it took only 10min and we were already sitting in the rollercoaster. It was so much fun! But it was over way too quickly. :<  Now that we had gone to one rollercoaster we wanted to try all of them. We went downstairs and wanted to go outside to find more equipments but then Maiju and Erika saw the carousel... And they forced me to ride it. D: They have evidence of it, thaks to cameras. After the ride was over (it took way too long if you ask me) we found our way to the part that was outside. It was a bit hot and the sun was shinning a lot so we put a little sun lotion first before we explored the place and run from one rollercoaster to another one.

In the end of the day we were so tired but we knew that we'd have to still go to a club with our friends from the hostel. On our way home we went to FamilyMart and bought cupnoodles from dinner. When we were eating in our hostel the owner suddenly placed a cake next to me and said it was for me. First I thought that he had bought it for me but then he said that it was from my korean friend who lives in Incheon. I was so touched that I almost started to cry, that's how happy I was. Then the owner also gave me a small present. Why are the people in here so sweet!? We ate the cake together with the people from the hostel. We had candels and they sang me a happy birthday song. ^^ In the evening we went all together to a club and had a lot of fun.

I'll add photos here when I get the memorycard from Erika.

Palaces and partys 13.6

On our second day we woke up really early so that we would have time to explore around two palaces. We met Erika in a nearby park and went to our first destination; Gyeongbokgung palace (not sure if that's how you write it). We I don't have much to tell about it so I'll just and pictures here and give small commets to some of them. ^^

The next photos are of the guard exchaning ceremony. The ones with the red costumes played some traditional music and after them came some guys with flags and the new guards. (They were changing the guards at the front gate)

After Gyeongbokgung palace we were really hungry and wanted to go eat something. The took the subway to Anguk station, that is where the Changdeokgung palace is, and started to search for a restaurant. It turned out to be much easier than we thought because there was a restaurant right next to the subway station. And it had a really good menu too. I ate omuraisu. We continued our way to Changdeokgung and brought tickets to a guided tour. And now I'm going to use my picture tactic again. :P

In the evening we went to eat with our friends from the hostel. The place was nice, it was in the second floor and had an open terrace. We ate somekind of meat with a spicy sauce and drank beer. I don't like beer but they made me drink one bottle. It wasn't as bad as in Finland. When everyone was ready we left to find a good club where to go. We ended up going to to M2 and I met some japanese girls there. Yay! I was able to speak japanese with them. ^^

And that's all for that day. More updates coming soon~ !  (Hopefully today)

First day in Seoul

So today was the day that we arrived to Seoul. The flight to here was horrible. I didn't manage to sleep at all and when the plane landed at 8.20 (local time) I was already really tired. And we still had to go through custom and everything. They took our fingerprints and a photo of us. After that we went to get our luggages and to search for our airportbus. It was about 20,000won but we managed to get really close to our hostel/guesthouse. The way to our hostel from the bus stop was a nightmare. It was hot and we had to walk uphill with heavy bags. After we made it to our hostel there were three floors of stairs and NO elevator and the stairs were really small. But we made it upstairs and checkd in, we took a quick shower and met Erika afterwards. Because we were so tired we just decided to hang around in Hongdae and see how it looks like. We found a good restaurant, the owner was really friendly and spoke good english. She showed us how to eat korean food and helped us to grill the meat. When we were full we continued to Ewa to see the shopping areas. We didn't buy anything but decided to come back later. Me and Maiju went back to our hostel and were planning to go to sleep but then three Australian guys checked in and started to chat with us. They asked us if had had dinner yet and if we want to go with them. One of the owners of this place brought us to a local restaurant and orderd us food (the reseption in the hostel was empty because he was the only worker at that time). The boys said that they'll pay for us so we had a free dinner~ ^^

So, that was my first day in Korea. ^^ This trip will be awesome!
